Download and run the installer. Windows may show a SmartScreen prompt - click "More info" -> "Run anyway". We are an indie app, this is normal.

Questions
How much time does Croppa actually save?
For a typical talking-head or tutorial recording, manually hunting and cutting every silence can take 1–3 hours. Croppa does the same job in seconds. The longer and more rambling your raw footage, the more you save — and the more mental energy you keep for the creative work.
Does it upload my footage anywhere?
No. Everything runs on your Windows PC. Your files never leave your machine. The only network request is a one-time licence check when you first activate — after that, Croppa works entirely offline.
Which editors can I export to?
Adobe Premiere Pro (AEJSX script), DaVinci Resolve (FCPXML), LumaFusion, Shotcut (MLT XML) — or just a finished MP4 if you don't need to do anything else. Each export opens the cut timeline directly in your editor.
Do I need an NVIDIA GPU?
No — it's a nice bonus but not required. Croppa detects your hardware and falls back to CPU encoding automatically. It works on any Windows 10 or 11 PC.
Windows is warning me about the installer — is it safe?
Totally fine. Windows flags new apps that haven't yet built up a large download history. Click "More info" -> "Run anyway". Croppa only touches the internet once to verify your licence key, never again after that.
Is this really a one-time payment?
